TVT S8K & R8K
High image sharpness with a camera module equal in resolution to DVD and
Mini-DV: 768 x 494 NTSC, 480 line resolution, 48 dB s/n ratio.

Automatic exposure control is peak-sensing with double time constant rapid
correction, or center-weighted averaging.

Running speed of 17.126 frames per second (FPS) is as close as possible to
matching the original amateur 16 and 18 FPS filming rates, so no customer
complaints about unnatural excessive speedup of screen action to 20 or 24.
No shutter bar or flicker at any of the three running speeds.

Focus, size, alignment, speed and exposure are all preset or automatic.
Speeds are crystal controlled with no anti-flicker tweaking by the operator required.

Highest image integrity: direct imaging from film to sensor using special 1:1
macro lens system. No telecine / film chain mirror, aerial image field lens,
close-up lens, grainy ground glass or screen to degrade the image.
Film pull-down is synchronized to the video.

Newly invented broad-spectrum solid state light source. Gives cool low-power
light with no ultraviolet radiation to fade the film, no infrared to cause loss of
color saturation in the camera.

Footage counter for accurate argument-free no-guesswork billing.
Adds in forward, subtracts in reverse.

Three-motor design. Reel motors eliminate troublesome clutches and slipping belts.
400 foot reel capacity.

Feed and holdback sprockets for a steadier screen image than with
sprocketless machines. Ratcheting sprockets for resetting film loops.

Reliable professional/broadcast BNC video output connector (with RCA adapter),
also S-Video 4-pin output.

Exposure can be controlled fully manually and the speed can be set to half
normal for over-short scenes from weak camera batteries, or to 1.5X normal
for film that was exposed at 24 or 25 FPS
